It is difficult to find the right words to say how gratefull I am for the experience around the purchase
of my lovely black Mercedes r107 300 sl.
So for a lack of a better word: thank you.
To say that I am a fussy person is an understatment, and you guys met or exceeded all my expectations
on everything:
*From the day I sourced the car with the help of your good advice (you could have twisted my arm to buy
one of your cars, but you did not). You helped me build my education around this specific model with a
professional and passionate approach.
*To the inspection that you performed on the car, that was fair, thorough and very well documented.
*When I requested quotes around the work to be done, everything was clearly explained and
(VERY RARE THING!), every job was performed in the end within the initial quotes! Not £1 was added to
the final bill!
*The work was astonishing, mechanically of course, but the wheel refurbishing, detailing of the inside
(leather,
wood, carpet cleaning), detailing of the bodywork and engine. Everything was breathtaking.
*Bruce put an energy and dedication in my car that I have never seen anywhere else in the car
business (I had countless porsches, ferraris, lotuses over the years). His attention to details has zero
equivalent anywhere in the country. This guy is simply the best. He went as far as taking out the
screws with rusty heads everywhere needed and replacing them with brand new OEM ones.
*Coming and picking up the car was yet another good surprise. Everything had been adressed on the
car, it was sitting there under a blue cover, and the two chaps pulling it as if it was the first presentation
at a motorshow! There can' t be a more satisfying experience for a petrolhead.
*When there was a confusion around the hardtop that came with my car, Bruce drove all the way from
Redditch to London free of charge to deliver the correct item! What other outfit would drive 300 miles
for this sort of issues.
Subsequently and as I had paid my bill which was very reasonable given the amount of work done.
Every additional question or issue was courteously replied to. I was not 'dumped' as the bill was paid
as so many outfits tend to do. There is just one conclusion: these guys are the absolute best
specialists for classic Mercedes in the country. They are probably the best car specialists you will find
in any classic-car circles.
If you are looking for nice, professional, passionate service, this is one amazing company to do business with.
